selected CLC RADIO Air Staff (“disc jockeys”) as
Production assistants as needed (since all DJs
are required to act as PA's as well), thus
allowing for the delegation of some authorized
duties to those charges. The STUDENT
ENGINEER must have substantial on-air experience
or ability, and should work at least
one air-shift each week. The Student
Engineer should try to develop a good speaking
voice for use at Live Events when announcements
are to be made,

responsibility in choosing webmaster
assignments, duties, and access to the
clcradio.org site (this rule cannot be voted
upon in clc radio board action nor decided upon
by student staff at any time). The
designation will fluctuate wildly, proving the
Student Engineer to be flexible, yet still
maintain a "thick skin". There is
absolutely no way to anticipate what a CLC
employee or Lake County Community member may
deem inappropriate on the website (one man's
ceiling can be another women's Fright Fest).
The website is not the audio stream, the website
is the FACE and inaudible content of CLC Radio.
Our audio is a completely separate matter,

solicited by the Chief Engineer, General
Manager, and Station Manager. Involving
others in any technical or purchasing decision
will only serve to delay any process completion.
Any ideas considered or modified will be
forwarded by the Chief Engineer to the proper
purchasing or procuring authority of CLC at
times deemed appropriate by those authorities.
Any items of concern forwarded in writing must
be checked for timeliness, accuracy, spelling
and grammar, as these ideas usually will be
forwarded to purchasing or procurement
authorities as is, initialed or signed as well
by the Chief Engineer.

side the Program Director per the rules applied
to him or her when that process starts in
December each school year. All ideas for the
